Privacy policy

This policy explains what DFY Automation ("we") collects when you use dfyautomation.io, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to team@dfyautomation.io.

What we collect

  • When you book a call: your name, email, company website and your answers to the booking questions. Calendly also receives your name, email and answers so you can pick a time.
  • When you download the onboarding form: your name, work email and company, plus any optional answers you give, and whether you asked us to get in touch or to book a discovery call.
  • When you browse: Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how you arrived, your general location (country and city), your device, and the steps of booking a call: the options you pick, never what you type. It uses cookies (see Cookies). Google Analytics doesn't log or store IP addresses.

Why we use it

We use what you send us to prepare for your call, to reply to you, and to send the proposal if we're a fit. Analytics help us see which pages are useful. We don't use advertising or remarketing cookies, and we don't sell your information.

Cookies

  • Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by our property's code, to count visits.
  • LinkedIn's video player, on pages with a video, sets LinkedIn's own cookies when it loads.
  • Calendly's calendar loads only after you answer the booking questions, and may set Calendly's own cookies.

In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, we ask first. Our site recognizes these visitors by their browser's time zone and language. Until you accept, Google Analytics doesn't run, and each LinkedIn video shows a "Play the video" button in place of the player, which loads only if you press it. If you decline, both stay off. We keep your answer in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.

If our site can't tell you're in one of these countries (for example, your device uses a US time zone and US English), it doesn't ask: LinkedIn's player loads as usual, and Google still sets no Analytics cookies for visitors it places in these countries. You can make or change your choice at any time with the button below, or with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Everywhere, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Who else handles it

  • Calendly, for scheduling calls.
  • LeadMagic, to check that the email address you enter in a form can receive email. It gets only the address.
  • Our booking and lead workflows, which pass your answers to our team.
  • Hostinger, which hosts this website.
  • Google, for analytics.
  • LinkedIn, for the videos embedded from LinkedIn.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and lead details for as long as we're in touch with you about our services, and delete them when you ask. Google Analytics keeps visit data for 14 months.

If you're in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland

We use Google Analytics and LinkedIn's video player only with your consent. We use what you send through the booking and onboarding forms to answer your request, as steps you asked for, and in our legitimate interest in following up with you about it. We're based in the United States, and the information you send us is handled there.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete what we hold about you, to stop using it, or to send you a copy, by emailing team@dfyautomation.io. You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time with Cookie settings, and block analytics cookies in your browser settings. In Europe, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
